Extra Corporeal Support for several organs have been in vogue for several decades. As the understanding of critical illness improves, we have begun to realize that organ failures quite often occur concurrently and sequentially. Supporting several organs simultaneously is sometimes needed in Intensive Care Units, Just as organ cross talk is a reality, cross talk between machines could also be an issue to contend with. This workshop is the first ever initiative to explore the options available for Multiple Organ Support using Extra Corporeal tools. The HICS team has designed a comprehensive agenda with faculty who are actively involved in the use of these modalities. We hope to address the long felt need for such a comprehensive aggregation of al life support modalities under one banner.
