HOW TO UPDATE MOBILE CONTROL UNIT

1. Download the PICkit2 software from the Microchip website

2. Install the software

3. Connect the PICkit2 programmer to the USB port

4. Run the software and check that the Pickit2 programmer is correctly recognized by
the software (PICkit 2 found and connected)
5. Make sure it is NOT enabled the “Manual device select” option

6. Exit the software

7. Connect the PICkit2 programmer to the connector on the control unit

 8. Switch on the control unit
9. Run PICkit2 software

The microchip will be automatic recognized by the software.

10. Import the .hex update file into the software
11. Click on WRITE
After a couple of seconds you will see the “Programming Successful” message.

Switch off the control unit and remove the programmer.

The update is done.
