Open the small STAT table cover
Note: If STAT PAUSE (F2) was selected to load samples, then

the new samples need to be placed in any position with a
higher position number than those for the existing samples.
Place each sample in a STAT table position:
For the correct container size (tube adapters are for either
13 mm or 16 mm diameter containers)
With the bar code facing out
With caps removed
Close the small STAT table cover
Press the green STAT START button on the analyzer.
The system starts analysis and the STAT TABLE

ROTATION LED begins to blink
To monitor sample status on the analyzer:

Select RESULT
Select:
- A sample ID and then Detail to view the tests
ordered, results, and flags for the selected sample
- Realtime List to view a list of completed samples
with test results


Manual Programming for Samples on the STAT Table
Notes: This procedure Manually order a sample:

- Select the sample from the Pending List and select Jump to the

Perform Add On and Rerun Tests on the STAT Table
Notes: This procedure applies when:

A STAT sample requires an add on or rerun test to be processed on the STAT
table using the same sample ID and index as the original sample
STAT Table Settings are set to Bar Code
Auto Rerun for the STAT table is set to Disabled
Multiple Loads STAT table operation is Disabled
Select STAT > STAT (Patient) > Test Order

Select Search by Sample ID to enter the sample ID, select Search
Order an add on or rerun test:
Select Rerun (F3). The system displays the first run tests, identified by
an *, with results and flags (if any)
Select the test(s) to add on or rerun. Selected tests are highlighted in blue
(for normal analysis)
Select OK
Optional: select Pending List (F4) to view a list of ordered samples:

Select Close to close the Pending List, or
Select the sample from the Pending List and select Jump to the
Selected Sample to view the specific sample order
Select STAT Status

Select STAT Pause (F2) Yes STAT TABLE

If First Bottle Only is selected in the QC Program by Panel area, select
Individual Order (F3) to order sequential bottles of the same test.
Make the appropriate test selections, select Close to save the order
In Type, select the sample type to order QC for other sample types

Order and Perform Analyzer Calibration and QC with Laboratory
Automation System (Multiple Loads STAT Table)
Notes:
This procedure applies to labs connected to an automation line. Calibrators and QC samples must be
processed on the STAT table using bar codes. The system provides a Multiple Loads STAT Table operation
to allow for up to 200 calibrators and 100 control samples to be processed in a single run. Use this
procedure when more than 22 calibrators and control samples are required in a single run. Perform
the procedures in the following order:
Order the Calibrations and QCs
Prepare and Load Calibrators and Control Samples on the STAT Table. Note: All calibrators must be
loaded before QC samples
Analyze the first load of Calibrators or Control Samples
Place Another Load of Calibrators or Control Samples on the STAT Table
Analyze the Last Load of Calibrators or Control Samples
All of the above procedures are included in this flowchart.
Select STAT > STAT (Calibration)
Order Calibrations
In Type, select the sample type
Select Auto CAL/QC Order F4. The system automatically orders calibration for the
following conditions:
- The reagent blank or calibration is expired
- The reagent blank or calibration expires soon
- There is no reagent blank or calibration data available
- The reagent blank or calibration failed
From the STAT (Calibration) dialog, select OK. Verify the order is correct. Select Type, to
verify orders of all sample types in use
