On August 13, 2023 Officers with the Lynchburg Police Department responded to the woods near 200
Atlanta Ave in reference to a man on fire. Shortly after arrival, members of the Lynchburg Fire
Department confirmed the male had died, Darryl Farrar was identified by the 911 caller as the
deceased,
During the investigation, two individuals were identified as having recent contact with the deceased
male, QUAMMMIIRD 2c GMI cvisec-that they were friends ofthe deteased-and had been
with him shortly prior to his death.
