Based on my experience in interactive & teaching over 700 students, here are the 10 reasons (with proof) why
an Olympiad medal or certificate skyrockets by at least 10X, the chances of scaling over others to get a University
course of your choice.

⭐ A* or Grade 9 is necessary but not sufficient. In Oxbridge for every single seat, 23 applicants qualify based on
their A-Levels & GCSE Grades
⭐Participation in national level Olympiad showcases the extra spark in the child to go over & beyond the
calling.
⭐A mere mention of Olympiad certificate or medal gives a definitive embellishment to the personal statement
⭐ Olympiad exam is the toughest of all the exams that a student can give for his/her age. Selection &
achievement in Olympiad means that the student is way above average
⭐ As you prepare for Olympiad, you naturally enhance your depth of understanding and knowledge of your
subjects. It helps in clearing Univ entrance exams and interviews.
⭐ Most of the Olympiad papers are prepared by the Senior Professors in OxBridge (Like UKMT board members
are mostly senior professors from Oxbridge & British Informatics Olympiad is conducted by Oxford Univ in
collaboration with TCS).
⭐For the above reason, those sitting in interviews and candidate evaluation process have a natural preference
for Olympiad medallists.
