Ray Elementary School

Supply List for Grades 7-8 2023-2024

Welcome to Ray Middle School. You will need the following supplies which should be with you on the
first day of school and every day thereafter. Please label all supplies with your name and, if applicable, subject
(e.g notebooks, folders, binders). As supplies run low, be sure to replace them. Managing time and materials
is an important life skill

All Homeroom Teachers Require the following to be left in their classroom:

3 rolls of paper towels
3 boxes of Kleenex
2 Clorox clean wipes
2 bottles hand sanitizer

Homeroom teachers share these supplies with other non-homeroom teachers. These also may need to be
replenished during the school year.

TEACHERS REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING FOR EVERY CLASS, EVERY DAY

Social Science Supplies

2 spiral notebooks
1 folder
Enough pens or pencils to last the school year
Highlighter
coloring pencils

Reading and Writing

1-2 packs of small Post-it notes
2 Pocket folders- 1 for reading and 1 for writing
1 5-subject notebook (approximately 200 pages)
1 composition notebook

Math Supplies
2 spiral notebooks
enough pens or pencils to last the school year
a pencil sharpener
scissors for the class set
glue stick for the class set

Science Supplies
1” 3-ring binder
1 folder
3-hole notebook paper
pens or pencils required (teacher does not supply)
Art supplies: scissors, glue stick, colored pencils (can be same materials for art class and math)
