Creating a factory flow


We can do:

1. Generate a production system from process planning.


2. Define, validate, optimize your materials flow and production
requirements.
3. Analyze a production system and validate product design, process
and layout changes by simulation.
4. Identify trouble area, edit a production system.

About flow
We can create links between resources, which allow one or
more resources to handle a product.

Type of flows:

a) Factory flow:
It is a series of product flows and activities, that
allows one or more products to flow through
several resources.
The factory flow starts with an IN ZONE
associated with a create activity and ends with an
OUT ZONE associated with a dispatch activity.

b) Product flow:
It creates a link between two resources, allowing
one or more products to move from one
resource to another. It is symbolized by a
chevron line with a product zone located at each
extremity.
About activities
Allow you to specify the action of a resources or a zone. You can create a factory flow on resources on IN and OUT
zones and create a factory flow for several resources.
