I am currently a final-year candidate of BSc Mathematics(Class of 2021) at Aligarh Muslim University, India. I am looking for

II. WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Role: IoT Developer
Company: iD&D Ltd ( UK )
Location: Remote
Duration: March 2020 – Current

Responsibilities
Kumva develops non-invasive remote monitoring solutions to increase
efficiency, drive optimisation and lower costs in East African industrial environments.
• Writing and testing firmware for 3rd Generation Particle Devices based on RTOS in C++.
• Designing hardware and implementing its functionality in the software.
• Watchdog, ISR and RTCs to ensure devices work properly.
• Implemented a sleep algorithm which improved the battery life of the devices by 40%.
• Setting up of webhooks and APIs to ingest the data into cloud services for further processing.
• Creating automated weekly and monthly reports for the customers.
• Currently working on industrial monitoring system where I am responsible for analysis of timeseries data
and creating a data pipeline on which autoencoders can be used to detect anomalies.

2. Role: Intern
Company: Proctors Office, Aligarh Muslim University
Location: Aligarh, India
Duration: October 2019 – January 2020

Responsibilities and Task

The proctor’s office of Aligarh Muslim University wanted to deploy a solution for facial recognition based
attendance of the security staff along with their tracking to keep a track of the employees and their locations in real
time. I designed a solution in which:
• Used MongoDB at its backend to store the employee information.
• Designed an algorithm for generation of daily duty roaster in three different shifts.
• Used background task scheduling tool like celery to detect false matches and improve the algorithm.
• Wrote a class for employee which interacted with different parts of the application.
• Designed the frontend in python tkinter which followed the Finite state machine structure to carry out
the face recognition.
• Backend in flask and python to visualize the data.

2019 Keynote speaker on ‘Introduction to IoT’ organized by the Department Of Computer Science, AMU.

2019 Keynote Speaker at the World Mental Health Day organized by the Department of Psychology, AMU. I talked
about how neural networks can be used in the field of clinical psychology.

2019 Mustajab Educational And Social Welfare Society. I teach physics in NGOs and currently am training a few
students over there on hydroponic plantation system.

2017 Intern, Aligarh Muslim University’s Literary Festival organized by University Debating and Literary Club under
the aegis of Cultural Education Centre.

VI.PROJECTS

2018-19 Smart Environment Monitoring System

Working on smart environment monitoring system under the guidance of Mr. Charles McClellend
(President, SeeInsights llc).
Developed firmware on Real time operating system and designed an adaptive sampling algorithm which
changed sampling duration dynamically to optimize battery health.

2020 e-Medical cum Hospital Management System

I built a complete hospital management system for Jawarharlal Nehru Medical College , AMU during COVID 19
pandemic to facilitate their e-consultation services.
2020 Student Management System for Department of Computer Science to manage student records.
2020 Cold Chain Monitoring System (Rwanda, Ongoing)

Built a smart Cold Chain Monitoring Device for Vaccine Storage Facility at Rwanda which senses the temperature
and humidity of the warehouse. Used watchdog and custom designed PCB to recover the device if code hanged.
2020 Low Power Asset Tracker using Particle Electron for cold chain supply monitoring.
2020 Data pipeline on AWS using Kinesis stream and firehose to visualize IoT data in QuickSights.
2020 Setup Elastic Search and Kibana on AWS cloud to visualize Agriculture IoT data.
2020 Website for a college faculty with CRUD functionalities for maintaining their portfolio.
