II. Summary
The Philippine Government issue the program that have the goal to vaccinate the children ranging from the age
of 5 between to 11 years old with the cooperation and the efforts of the Department of Education (DEPED) that
was leaded by the Education Secretary Leonor Briones since Secretary Briones perspective towards this
vaccination of children will help in the goal of the Philippine Government and Department of Education to
expand the face-to-face classes that was delayed by the current pandemic of COVID. This program was started
in February 7, 2022 after a "rigorous examination method" by four independent expert committees, the
Philippine Pediatric Society (PPS) and the Pediatric Infectious Disease Society of the Philippines authorized the
initiation of pediatric immunization (PIDSP).
III. Editorial
The Perspective of the Philippine Government which was aided by different organizations and Departments can
be considered as to be brilliant since the children also needed to be vaccinate despite the fact that according to
the experts’ statement regarding the immunity of the children towards the pandemic or the virus called COVID
– 19 is very resilient from the possibility of getting the virus which is also the reason as for why some of the
parents or the guardians of the children that was supposed to undergo the program which was entitled as
“Resbakuna Kids” disagreed in the plan of the government for vaccinating their children for various reason such
as they state that this might result in the same event the occur when the vaccine called “Dengvaxia” which the
medicine that was use to improve the defense of the people that was vaccinated by it to the virus which was
originated in the certain family of mosquito which I personally think that some of them are being hysterical
since most of the vaccine was already been used in other countries so I think that the vaccines of this brands are
well trusted.
