What is Supply Chain Management (SCM)?

Ans: Supply chain management or SCM deals with the


management or flow of products and services, which
begins form the origin of the product and ends at the
product’s consumption. SCM has been a vital part of
every company’s operations as it offers multiple
advantages. The alignment of SCM goals to company
goals make it easier for companies to succeed by
operating productively and cost efficiently. Under SCM
are five steps to complete the process, these are: planning,
developing, making, delivering, and return. It is a cycle at
which SCM promotes continuous improvement.
