Situation: An area in your country has been selected to be part of a social experiment: the creation
of a new nation. You have been chosen to design it. Answer the following questions to describe
your plan.

1. Which political system will the country have? Explain why that system and not any other.
Aristotle distinguishes in politics from him. the different types of constitution. He
proposes in Chapter VII of Book III a classification of constitutions and combines
two criteria for this: the number of the sovereign and the purpose of the
constitution. In fact, he allows discrimination between constitutions in which
power exists for himself (deviant constitutions) and those in which he exercises it
for the entire community (straight constitutions). In straight constitutions, the
sovereign rules with a view to the common advantage, in deviant constitutions, he
rules with a view to his particular advantage. Within the straight constitutions,
which differ according to the number of the sovereign, one finds royalty,
aristocracy, and constitutional government, being the name common to all
constitutions.
