CV - Gate

When Sequence A or Sequence B are selected, or when you play notes on the keyboard,
the notes are translated immediately into Control Voltage ( #CV ) and #Gate signals and
sent to the connectors on the back panel
#Pitch , and #Pressure . The #pressure voltage can either be #velocity or
#Gate
#pressure depending on what you have selected in the Utility section or the MIDI Control
Center.
MIDI Control Center allows you to configure the response of the CV/Gate jacks

Pitch
Pitch voltage is compatible with the 1v per octave standard.
Some #synths use the 1.2 V per octave standard.

Example

1. 1 Volt/octave (0-10V).
2. Hertz per Volt (needed for systems where a change of 1 volt results in a change in pitch
of a fixed number of Hertz, rather than a fixed musical interval).
3. 1.2 Volt/octave (a #Buchla specific standard)

Gate
Gate signals can also have different output ranges:

1. S-Trig
2. V-Trig 5V,
3. V-Trig 10V

Pressure
The keyboard sensitivity parameter allows you to adjust the CV #pressure range.

Info
To play those you have to change the corresponding setting in Utility>CV/Gate>Pitch Format
or in the MIDI Control Center.
