What is a healthy and happy life? What is a truly healthy person like?

A truly healthy person is one who is healthy both physically and mentally. Only in this way
can we live a happy life. However,there is a concept called “subhealthy” which means the state
between sick and healthy and it is damaging our health.People nowdays are suffering from
varieties [vəˈraiəti] of syndromes
['sɪndrəʊm] of modern life,especially in such a rapid developing and competiting era, with the
huge pressure of working, many people suffered from depression and subhealthy. Today it’s so
easy to get information…and lots of it.We receive telephone calls all day long.People expect a
quick response to their faxes,text messages,and e-mail messages.For some people ,it’s too
much.There is so much information,they become paralyzed and can’t think clearly.Hurry sickness
is a straightforward name for another incentive of subhealthy. We’ve all complained about having
too much work to do.Now we college students meet more and more stress,most of which comes
from heavy study load,economic pressures,employment pressures and stress of interpersonal
relation. Proper stress can serve as effective motivation for study,but too much stress tends to
cause depression, frustration, loneliness ,etc.They may lose appetite and suffer from insomnia,and
lose the motivation for studying.It is often reported that some high school students have mental
problems and even commit suicide. So our health condition shouldn’t be ignored and some ways
must be found to reduce our stress.We could,for example,take physical exercise,listen to
music,read humorous stories, talk with friends and so on in our free time.We should all keep it in
mind that living a healthy and happy life is always necessary and important.
