the best combination of various attractions of Lima and its three historical periods: pre-Latin,

colonial and contemporary. Several pre-Columbian cultures dating back thousands of years have

developed in Lima, of course, it was also part of the Inca Empire. However, Lima was founded in 1535

We leave Lima through the Pan-American Highway heading south towards Paracas.

Today we will go to the Paracas wharf, where you will board an equipped boat, then you will go to

the Ballestas Islands. Along the way, you will see the famous figure known as El Candelabro (The

Chandelier), an enigmatic design etched into the desert floor hundreds of years ago. The

Chandelier overlooks the ocean, so here you will have the opportunity to take pictures, as well as

learn about the most popular theories about it. You will then continue to the Ballestas Islands, which

are inhabited by incredible marine life, with more than 200 types of migratory and resident birds,

including Peruvian Pelicans, Belcher's Gulls, Humboldt Penguins, Guanay Cormorants, Robin

Cormorants, Inca Terns, Boobies Peruvians, Turkish vultures, among others. In addition, you will also
see around the islands hundreds of sea lions lounging on the beaches, sleeping on the rocks or

swimming nearby. The islands also provide shelter for shy Humboldt penguins, who are usually seen

Then we will leave Paracas to take a bus towards Ica, where we will see the desert town of

We will travel to Nazca in the morning and see one of the most mysterious places in Peru: the Nazca

Lines. There you will be able to fly over in a small plane and observe the famous and mysterious

Nazca Lines for about 30 minutes. The first figure you will see from the air will be the whale. This

beautiful marine deity is located in the eastern part of the archaeological complex and was drawn

on a large rectangular figure. The following figure is a triangle, which appears on a small hill with 3

points. Then you will find the spider, a figure that, according to local knowledge, represents fertility

and water. A few meters away is the enormous figure of the condor, whose straight line crosses its

wings and points to the place where the sun sets on the summer solstice. In addition, you will be
able to appreciate different figures. After flying over these wonderful figures, you will return to the

airfield and be transferred back to your Hotel.

its magnificent Santa Catalina monastery (declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and its

DAY 7: AREQUIPA - COLCA CANYON

For the first time on this tour, today we will travel through the Andes. We will drive up to an altitude

of no less than 4800m.a.s.l. before descending to the Colca Valley. At this height there is a fantastic

view of the many volcanoes in the area. As you enter to the highland, you will enjoy views of serene

lakes with migratory birds and llamas, alpacas, guanacos, and vicunas roaming the Peruvian

Andes. After this amazing trip, you will arrive at the cozy town of Chivay where you can have lunch,

buy some snacks and drinks and walk around. We will spend the night in the heart of the Colca

Valley, in the middle of agricultural terraces, with a special architectural style inspired by ancient

Inca constructions.

After breakfast we will go to the viewpoint of the Colca Canyon where we can observe the majestic

condors fly. The condor is a huge bird that is among the largest in the world, capable of flying. Due

to its great weight (up to 15 kilograms), and even its huge wingspan (3 meters); needs some help

to stay in the air. For this reason, these birds prefer to live in windy areas, where they can glide on

air currents without much effort. Andean condors live in mountainous areas, but also near the coast,

where there are sea breezes, and even in deserts with strong thermal air currents.

The Colca Canyon is the deepest in the world and is formed by the Colca River. The landscape is

We will sail to the floating reed islands of the Uros, who originally built these artificial islands to

escape from the Incas, who ruled the continent at the time. These islands, also known as floating

islands, are a set of approximately 80 islands built of reeds, an aquatic plant that grows on the

surface of Lake Titicaca. The totora (reed) is woven and spread over another layer, in sequence to

build the surface of each island.

These islands are inhabited by the Uros, one of the oldest cultures on the continent. Which dates

back to times before the Incas. The inhabitants of this floating community claim to own the waters

of Lake Titicaca. Each time new reeds are thrown on top to change those that spoil, in order to the

Leaving Puno and Lake Titicaca behind, you will begin your journey in a comfortable tourist bus to

Cusco, a ride of about 8 hours The journey from Puno to Cusco will take you through a high and

beautiful mountain pass of 4200m.a.s.l. and along the Vilcanota River, steep slopes and Andean

villages. We will stop along the route at some of the most beautiful and authentic places. For

instance, we will stop in the great pre-Hispanic city of Pukara, characterized by its huge pyramids-

you will visit the Lithic Museum where you can admire several artifacts from that period. The town

is also known for its traditional pottery known as "Toritos de Pukara", (Pukara Bulls). After a 35-minute

tour you will board a tourist bus and head towards your next stop in La Raya. At (4,335m.a.s.l./14,222

feet). This is the highest point of the route and it is here where the Vilcanota River, also known as the

Sacred River of the Incas, is born.

We will continue with the trip to the fascinating archaeological complex of Raqchi. You'll admire the

monumental size of Raqchi and its temple, whose walls reach up to 49 feet (15 m) and was unique

in the Inca Empire. The Raqchi tour lasts around 40 minutes and will then continue to the last stop

before reaching Cusco, “Andahuaylillas”. This charming 16th century town has a beautiful Main

Square and the Church of San Pedro de Andahuaylillas; the pride of the town and its people. It is

one of the most beautiful baroque churches built under Spanish influence in the Americas and is

often referred to as the "Sistine Chapel of the Americas." The tour around Andahuaylillas will last

about 25 minutes before the tour bus takes you to the final destination-the Capital of the Inca

We leave early in the morning for the world famous site of Machu Picchu. With its ingenious

The City Tour starts at 09:00 hrs we pick you up at your hotel to go to the most important sites in

Cusco and its surroundings. First of all, we will visit the Inca Sun Temple “Qoricancha” located exactly

in the center of the city. The transport we will continue with the visit to Sacsaywamán, a great

fortress located approximately 5 kilometers above Cusco. Later we will observe “Qenqo” a place

We will pick you up at your hotel between 03:00 am – 03:15 am. To then start the trip to the South
Valley, which lasts about 3 hours until we reach the community of Hanchipacha, where we will have
breakfast. Then we will continue the trip to the community of Quesiuno (4,326m.s.n.m/ 14,189 feet),
from where a 3-hour walk begins. On the way we will enjoy beautiful landscapes, see herds of
