Background
• Paving on Track Lane is the main work and most critical work
• We need to do risk assignment before, during, and after paving work
• The operator has to understand the critical part of their job
• Detail method for whole work of paving track lane will be submitted from in another
document
Purpose
• To minimize risk while paving
• To understand the ability of equipment and operator
• To train the operators and evaluation for better rersult

1. Preparation Work
• Mark the lane for 3 pavers with 5 meters width each
• Seal the Hauraton drainage inlet using tape to avoid aggregate debris
• Ensure every people understand the role and job
2. Equipment Mobilization
• Ensure the path for Dump Truck Mobilization
• Entrance for Dump Truck is on Turn 1, see figure below

3. Trial Paving
• Trial Paving using fine aggregate that loaded on the dump truck. Each Dump Truck
load ±15 tons of fines aggregate.
• Trial Paving is carried out on Track Lane from STA 3+970 - 4+140 to see the most
difficult corner
• There are 3 Critical Phases; entering the turn, in the turn, exiting the turn
• The formation for each phases shown on the figure below,
