GENERAL COMMENT
Layla-Lana is a polite and kind-hearted member of Pre Primary. Her caring nature shines through the
valuable friendships she builds with peers. Layla-Lana takes pride in the presentation of her work and
her confidence has increased to share ideas and communicate her feelings. She sometimes finds it
challenging to separate from her guardian but when her attendance is consistent, she is able to adjust
to routines and feels safe and loved in her school environment. Layla-Lana works collaboratively during
groups tasks and ensures her peers feel happy and included. She is developing organisational skills to
look after personal property. This semester, Layla-Lana enjoyed creating with playdough, dressing up
and putting on puppet shows. In Religious Education, she was absent for most lessons, however, she
identifies ways for people to live like Jesus. Layla-Lana received support to work towards the expected
level for Pre Primary in areas of English and Mathematics. As a goal for English, she can work on
identifying and writing the letter sounds we have learnt and practise writing her name. Layla-Lana was
absent for most lessons about counting and representing numbers up to 10, so I encourage her to
practise writing and comparing numbers up to 10. Congratulations on your efforts this semester, Layla-
Lana.
ATTENDANCE
Layla-Lana has been absent for 108 half days. Her attendance rate is 41%.
