I. TITLE: Knowledge, Livelihood and Sports: Drug Abuse Preventive Activities

VI. PROPOSED BUDGET: Php 5,000.00

VII. PROPONENT: BARKADA KONTRA DROGA - ARSENIAN CHAPTER

VIII. RATIONALE:

As a school organization it is our primary goal to empower the individual to be the

catalyst within his/her peer groups in advocating a healthy, drug-free lifestyles thru
involvement in various positive activities.

In order to accomplish our goal, we are proposing various activities that may help our
learners to have a healthy mind and body, and encourage them to have a productive use of
time and engage them in wholesome alternative activities.

IX. OBJECTIVES:

Terminal Objective/s: Help the learners to have a healthy mind and body, engage them
in wholesome alternative activities and be productive in using their time.

Enabling Objective/s:

Inform students on the gateway drugs, the effects and how to say “no to drugs”
thru Seminar on Drug Prevention and Control.
Showcase their talent in arts and crafts by conducting Fest of Talent or Arts and
Crafts Fair.
Engage the students to an alternative activity thru Sports Fest.

X. KEY CONTENT AND METHODOLOGY:

These activities are in line with the goals of BKD Movement. To name a few:

To train people in advocating a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. To accomplish this

goal, we are proposing to have a seminar on Drug Prevention and Control during the

celebration of Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week by inviting police officers as guest
speakers.

To encourage productive use of time and engage in wholesome alternative

activities. In order to achieve this, we are ordered to conduct a fest of talents with DM
No. 929, s. 2022. This activity aims to showcase the innate talents and skills of students
in Arts and Crafts.

And in order to give the students an alternative activity, we’re planning to conduct
a Christmas Sports Fest 2022 featuring badminton, chess, volleyball and basketball.

XI. EXPECTED OUTPUT: FEST OF TALENT/ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR, SEMINAR ON DRUG
PREVENTION AND CONTROL, AND ARSENIANS’ SPORTS FEST.
