The Schools Division of Escalante City shall conduct a 2- Day 2023 National Learning Camp (NLC) & Other EOSY Break Activities’ Summit. 2." The SUMMIT will be conducted face to face on August 26-27, 2023 at the venue which will be ‘announced later. 3. This activity aims a. identify gaps on the implementation of NLC; ‘a. recommends school plan of action to address the gaps: b. share schools’ best practices; © enhance teachers and instructional leaders on the implementation of NLC and other EOSY break activities for the succeeding years. 4. Participants to this summit are teachers of English, Science & Mathematics in Grade 7 & 8, School Heads in Elementary and Secondary, EXECOM, PMT, TWG, stakeholders and learners’ representative. This activity adheres the Equal Opportunity Principle (EOP) and ensures health , safety and well. being of all DepEd personnel, learners and stakeholders while enjoying this momentous celebration. 8. , Travel expenses ofthe participants shall be charged against local funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. ©. _ The teacher-participants are entitled of two (2) day Service Credits in accordance to DepEd Order No.53 s.2003 entitled "Updated Guidelines on Grant of Vacation Service Credits to Teachers”. The non- teaching personnel, however, shall be provided with Compensatory Time-off (CTO) as mandated by the Cuil Service Commission (CSC) and the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Joint Circular No. 2. s. 2004 on Non-Monetary Remuneration for Overtime Service Rendered. 7.
