Essay on the topic: "The consequences of the Chernobyl accident"
04/26/1986 a radiation disaster occurred - as a result of structural shortcomings
and human errors, an explosion occurred in the active zone of the Nuclear reactor of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Radioactive pollution by about 400 times exceeded the atomic bombing of Hiroshima by volume. The events of that year were so sealed in the history of the Ukrainian people that it will not be possible to live on the Chernobyl land for several centuries. What is suitable for life depends on the density of soil pollution with the main long - lived radionuclides: strontium, cesium and plutonium. By 2300, the activity of cesium isotopes and strontium will decrease by a thousand times, but plutonium - by only 28%. In addition, the catastrophe in the long run affected people's health. This is the scientists and doctors. First of all, this applies to cancer. Ironing through a disaster in Chernobyl increased the risk of leukemia to eliminate the consequences of the accident - this was confirmed by studies. However, there is another - a hidden problem. Now it is difficult to prove that the number of anomalies has really increased, and to investigate how radiation affects subsequent generations. This phenomenon is called "long -term radiation." The situation is such that it is difficult to identify changes and anomalies as a result of radiation, for example, in a growing generation. This actually causes much more biological changes. Sometimes, the negligence, desire of the government to hide the catastrophe from the population leads to irreversible consequences that the whole world will talk about after.
