Dear Parents and Students

Welcome to the 2023-24 school year! I am pleased to take this opportunity to introduce
myself to you and welcome your student to the Fourth Assalam School. I hope you had
an enjoyable summer and are ready to get back to school.

I am a Global Perspectives Teacher with 5 years of experience of teaching students

across various age groups and abilities. I strive to create independent learners and
thinkers by giving them problem-solving skills to accomplish their goals. I gain true
sense of accomplishment when my students excel.

During the course, we will be studying topics such as physical and human geography,
economics, government, cultural traits, and current events, and will explore how these
impact the world we live in and interact with every day. The global perspective subject
aims at developing skills of research, analysis, evaluation, reflection, collaboration and
communication.

A goal this year is to develop strong relationships within the classroom where students
feel comfortable taking risks while developing responsible behaviors and ownership of
their learning. Class consists of whole class instruction and discussion, small
group/partner practice and application, independent work, and assessments.

As we embark on this new school year together, let's remember that every challenge is
an opportunity for growth, every question is a step towards understanding, and every
effort is a contribution to our shared success. Together, we can create a positive and
engaging learning environment that empowers each student to reach their full potential.

I am eagerly looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you and learning
alongside you. Let's make this a fantastic year of learning, discovery, and memorable
experiences!.
