Directions: With the given Map of the Philippines and vicinity drawn on the grids, follow the different
procedures per item. (5 points each x 2 items = 10 points)

1. Use the latitude and longitude (lat-long) in the table below to track the location of the Tropical
Storm Sendong. Download the image of the Philippine map and open the image to a photo editor
(i.e. PAINT ). Plot each lat-long pair on the map by using a red-inked dot and connect the dots
from the first coordinate to the last. Save the file and upload the picture on the answer box with
the correct dots of coordinates.

2. With the given image of the track of the devastating Tropical Storm Yolanda in the year 2013 which
caused so many casualties, we can know its origin and predict its path until the storm dies out. Fill out
the table of the coordinates namely the latitude in 0N and the Longitude in 0E of the different points found
in the map.
