THIRD QUARTER ALTERNATE ASSESSMENT - GRADE ONE LEVEL

MATERIALS TO PREPARE
a. 3 pcs short white paper folders for the Multiple Choice and True or False
flashcards (each folder cut into two)
b. short bond papers or answer/white board for Completion test items
c. black/blue marker
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MATHEMATICS, CLE, LANGUAGE,
SCIENCE, SIBIKA AND FILIPINO
1. The Alternate Assessment is a 15-item test with Multiple Choice, or Completion
Type test items.
2. For Multiple Choice test items, students will prepare and write each of the
choices (letters A, B and C) on a ½ white folder. The letters A, B and C on the
white folders should be big and legible (size of letters and/or words should be ¾
of the ½ folder) to be flashed during the test. This shall be done before the
scheduled day of the test.

3. During the test, the teacher will share on the screen and read each item or
question twice.
4. After the teacher reads an item or question for the second time, the student must
ready his/her answer of choice for Multiple Choice test items. For completion
type questions, the student must write legibly the complete answer on the bond
paper or answer board using a marker.
5. Upon the signal of the teacher, the student should raise and flash his/her answer
immediately for checking.
6. Every correct answer will earn one point.

1. Additional instructions for Reading 1:
You are going to prepare 5 letter cards (A, B, C, D, and E). This will be used for
the Matching Type.
