INTRODUCTION TO NATURAL & STUDIO LIGHT

Project: Portrait Corporate Headshots from Start to Finish

1. BACKGROUND
A portrait photograph is a great way to show your subject face. There are many different styles of
portrait photography, but we are going to focus on corporate headshot photography which is one of
the most popular. This type of portrait usually works better with only one light and reflector to create
dramatic lighting effects that help emphasise your subject’s features while downplaying any flaws or
imperfections by using shadows and highlights.
