    FEEDING OF PARAKEETS

    The feeding of these animals is based on the seeds of oats, birdseed, wheat and millet mainly.
    Normally parakeets preparations are bought in establishments dedicated to it. Remember that
    water is essential and there should never be a lack of clean water in your drinker. They also
    like fruits and vegetables. Lettuce is his favorite but we must give it to him in rations since it
    contains a lot of water. Therefore, we recommend giving them other vegetables such as
    carrots, spinach and Swiss chard. These foods will provide the vitamin A necessary for its
    proper development. The apple also contains a lot of water, but the banana is another fruit
    that they like very much. Calcium should also not be missing from your diet. Another necessary
    element is iodine, which we will complete thanks to preparations from pet stores.
