while refined, enriched
pasta tends to be higher in
iron and B vitamins. Whole
grain pasta is also lower in
calories and higher in fiber
and certain micronutrients
than refined pasta.

noodles?

Noodles and pasta differ primarily because of their


ingredients and the type of processing involved.
Noodles are usually made with flour milled from
common wheat. Pasta is processed from durum
semolina, which is coarser than typical flour.
What is the nutritional significance of
pasta?

Carbohydrates like pasta provide glucose, the crucial


fuel for your brain and muscles. And because pasta is
an awesome source of complex carbohydrates (unlike
those of the refined and processed variety),
releasing energy at a slow and sustained level.

noodles?

Though noodles are part of everyday life in Chinese


culture, they also hold a lot of symbolism when
eaten during significant events. In China, noodles
are frequently eaten during the start of the Lunar
New Year and on birthdays. In fact, they symbolize
longevity and good health for the year ahead.
Importance of pasta in our daily life.

It's part of a good diet. Pasta is made from grain, one


of the basic food groups in a healthy diet that also
include vegetables, fruits, fish, and poultry. It's a
good source of energy and can give you fiber.
