League of Nations – Woodrow Wilson’s idea of an international body of all nations that would
settle future disputes and end all wars. It was his 14 th point and the most important of his
ideas for resolving WWI and preventing future wars. Many nations, including the United
States, objected to the idea of the league because it would potentially interfere with national
sovereignty or control.
