MICRO-SELECTOR TECHNOLOGY SYNONYM FOR MACRO NUMBERS

Who could imagine the micro-selector technology would lead us to such

high figures, not only in jacquard sales but also in hook capacity for a single
jacquard. It started with a dream, evolved into the most compact jacquard
ever and has become a standard in modern jacquard weaving. The latest
Si31 offers 31.104 hooks in only a 36 deep jacquard machine. Design free-
dom at its best without compromise. The new Linux based Ci controller
offers easy navigation due to the use of self-explaining icons. No wonder
jacquard sales are booming at Bonas; harvesting is the natural result of well
thought out planting and careful nourishing.

INCREASING SUCCESS OF Ji

The same micro-selector technology is used in our Ji, thus building on continuous success.
Combined with the ingenious, maintenance free drive mechanism, with integrated shed stand-
still, one obtains a vehicle employable in 80% of the jacquard business. Ji not only covers the
complete ZJ market but is also gaining a considerable share in other areas and opens new
markets. Introduced one year ago and already a trailblazer.
STATE-OF-THE-ART PRODUCTION PLANT INAUGURATED IN CHINA

On the 1st September VANDEWIELE China opened a brand new factory at Goachun
Nanjin. This production plant, equipped with modern robotics and machinery, will be-
come the main base for the production of the Ji Jacquards for the Chinese market!
As we are expanding our manufacturing footprint in China this is an important part of
our long term growth strategy. The opening of the new factory puts BONAS in an even
better position to support our Chinese customers and grow our business globally.

BONAS’ Ji ROAD SHOW

To promote our successful Ji Jacquards, BONAS started a 1 year Roadshow through

China, using a specially designed truck. This “showroom on wheels” brings the Ji direct
to the customer’s surroundings, which is highly appreciated judging by the large number
of visitors every week.
