Aurora

A long time ago in the country of France, there lived a King named Ivan and a
Queen named Ava. Today is a very special day because the queen is about to
give birth. Everybody is excited and can’t wait to see the baby.
King: Attention, everybody my wife is going to give a birth in a few hours. And
we are going to find out whether our first born will be a prince or a princess.
Queen: (Cry)
Baby: (Cry)
Midwife: Congratulations, it’s a baby girl.
King: We are going to name her ‘Aurora’ because she was born with an aura
around her.
Suddenly, three little fairies appeared. And it was time for each Fairy to give her
blessing to the baby.

Fairy 1: I will bless the baby with cleverness

Fairy 2: And I will bless the baby with a beautiful singing voice.
Just before the third fairy could grant her blessing, the evil witch appeared.
Everybody in this town knew her well. Her name was Maleficent.

Maleficent: Hahaha, finally, the day has come! I have waited for so long for the
day that the baby is born. I have came here to curse your baby to make you
suffer like me.
When your daughter turns 16 and her finger get pricked by a needle, she will
faint into a coma and so will everyone in the town.
Fairy 3: I still haven’t blessed you yet, so when you find your true love, you
will come back from the curse.
Everybody was afraid and worried about the curse, especially the king. So, he
immediately made an announcement.
King: Attention please, I want everyone to put their needles or anything sharp
away. If I see any needles, I will execute you!

16 years later, everyone in the town lived happily but they were very careful
about the curse. One day, an old lady moved into town and she never knew
about the princess’ curse. She was sewing in front of her house, when Aurora
came to her. Aurora was interested in her sewing. She came to talk with her.
Aurora: Hi, How are you ?
Old lady: Hi, I’m good sweet angel.
Aurora: What are you doing?
Old lady: I’m sewing my old apron.
Aurora: It’s interesting. I’ve never tried sewing before. Can I try it out?
Old lady: Sure, go ahead. Be careful though, the needle is sharp.

Suddenly, the needle pricked her finger.

Aurora: Ouch! My finger!
Aurora immediately fainted and so did everybody else around the town
No one was immune from the curse

As a result, everyone slept except the fairies. By now, Aurora had been asleep
for 2 years. The fairies never gave up and they tried very hard, asking for help
from many people around the country. Luckily, the news came through to the
prince of England – Prince Sirius. When he heard the story, he rushed to help
the princess.
Prince Sirius: I don’t know anything about her, whether she is beautiful or not,
but I must come to help her and her town right now.
Guards: Let’s roll!

When the prince arrived in Aurora’s bedroom, he saw her face and suddenly fell
in love with her.
The prince: She is so beautiful, I’m in love with her.
The Prince bestowed a gentle kiss on her lips - a true love’s kiss. At that very
moment, Princess Aurora’s eyes opened and she smiled at him.
Aurora: Thank you so much. Err.
Prince: Please call me Sirius. Prince Sirius.
Aurora: Thank prince Sirius
Queen: Oh, thank you so much prince Sirius. Finally, the curse is gone.
King: You are the one who helped my daughter and woke everybody up in my
town, which means you must be my daughter’s true love. I will hold a party as a
special thanks from us tonight. Please come and join.
The prince: Alright, we will be there.

This story teaches us that we should not underestimate the power of true love,
as it conquers everything. We also learned that you should never give up when
the going gets tough. The 3 fairies never stopped asking for help. It was their
persistence that saved Aurora and the town so they could all live happily ever
after.
