INTRUDUCTION
The Egyptian culture has existed for more than
6,000 years, undergoing numerous changes
due to contact with invading peoples, such as
the Arabs, Romans and Greeks. It is located in
northeastern Africa, mainly on the banks of the
Nile River.

The paper will deal with Egyptian, especially its

culture, such as writing, food and religion,
which I will delve into in the following slides.
WRITING
The Egyptian culture was the cradle of
writing, and developed it in three different
types:
Hieroglyphic writing. From 3,300 B.C. to 700 B.C.
Symbols representing objects (figurative) and used
to designate sounds (letters or syllables).

Hieratic writing. More stylized and simpler form so

that the writing was adapted to the papyrus.

Demotic script. Abbreviated form of hieratic

writing. It was used for everyday matters.
 RELIGION
Islam is practiced by 90% of the Egyptian population and is the official religion.
Unlike the religion of ancient Egypt, Islam is a monotheistic religion.

They were polytheists, that is, believed in

several gods. They applied magic and rituals in
all aspects of Egyptian life.

They believed in life after earthly death. They

made offerings and sacrifices on behalf of the
gods.
 BABA GANOUSH
Among the most popular meat
dishes and with a more than
affordable price is the kofta, which are original lamb skewers.

The preparation is simple, as meat meatballs are prepared (in

addition to lamb they can be made with beef) and cooked on
the grill and are delicious.
CONCLUSION
I can conclude that the Egyptian culture is
one of the most important, ancient and
culturally rich, since it has existed for more
than 6,000 years, had great advances in its
time, especially in hieroglyphic writing and
architecture, which is reflected in the
pyramids.

On the other hand, the Nile River had great

importance for its development, since it
influenced the livestock and agriculture of
the time.
