BASIC OPERATION
Lock/Unlock doors
Remote keyless entry system

To start engine:
STEP1: Carry the access key fob, and sit in the driver’s seat.
STEP2: Apply the parking brake.
Operation STEP3: Shift the select lever in the P position.

STEP5: While depressing the brake pedal, press the
push-button ignition switch.
To stop engine:
STEP1: Stop the vehicle completely.

To operate the wiper, rotate knob to;

Hazard warning flasher switch
To turn on the hazard warning flasher, press the switch.
Use the hazard warning flasher when you have to park
in emergency conditions.

Illumination brightness control dial
Turn the dial to adjust the illumination brightness of the
instrument panel.
When the control dial is turned fully upward, the
illumination brightness becomes the maximum and the
automatic dimming function does not work at all.

Center Information Display (CID)
All information is displayed on the center information display, including vehicle settings,
vehicle status, navigation system (if equipped) operation, audio operation, and air
conditioning operation.
The settings of the on-board systems can be changed by operating the center information
display.
Useful messages, such as reminders, weather information (if equipped) and traffic
information (if equipped) may interrupt the current screen and appear on the display
accompanied by a beep. Take the proper action according to the message.

Steering Responsive Headlight (SRH) system
SRH is a function that automatically moves the
headlight beam to the left or right in accordance with
the steering angle and vehicle speed. This function
helps to improve the visibility at night by illuminating the
road ahead at corners and intersections.
X-MODE
X-MODE is the integrated control system of the engine, AWD and Vehicle Dynamics Control
system, etc. for driving with bad road conditions.
Using X-MODE, you can drive more comfortably even in slippery road conditions including
uphill and downhill.
EyeSight
EyeSight is a driving support system that uses a range of functions to assist the driver in
making decisions in order to provide for more safe and comfortable driving and to reduce
driver fatigue.

Reverse Automatic Braking (RAB) system (if equipped)
Reverse Automatic Braking (RAB) is a system
designed to help avoid collisions or reduce collision
damage when reversing the vehicle.
If a wall or an obstacle is detected in the reversing
direction, the system will notify the driver with a
warning sound and may activate the vehicle’s brakes
automatically.

MAIN WARNING AND INDICATOR LIGHTS
Some warning/indicator lights illuminate for a few seconds in order to check themselves
when the ignition switch is turned ON.
