All members of kaonde Lunda Busense cultural association present this morning of which I am
part of.

All Protocol Observed; Ladies and Gentlemen.

Good morning to one and all present here today.

Firstly I would like to thank God for allowing us to be here this morning. Secondly allow me to
appreciate the office of the District Commissioner - Yoyoyo District for giving us permission to
make our donation to this hospital. I further thank the hospital management team and its
supporting staff for taking time out of their busy schedules to come and receive the donation
well as warmly welcoming us and accepting our request to be here today.

I stand here before you all, feeling honoured to deliver my speech but before I can forge ahead
allow me to give a brief background of the Kaonde Lunda Busense Cultural Association
( KLBCA). This Association was duly registered on 19th May 2021 with the register society of
 HEALTH,
SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL REPRESENTATIVE COMMITTEE -
QUATERLY MEETING

Zambia in accordance with section 7 (2) of the Society Acts 119 on 19th May 2021.IT was
birthed to enhance tribal cousinship between the kaonde and lunda people well as other tribes
thatpractice tribal cousinship with the aim of strenghthening inter-ethinic cultural exchange
and be able to unite members beyond northwestern province of Zambia.

It is the desire of our association as KLBCA that as we foster on our tribal cousinship in our
various communities we also engage in developmental activity such as what we are doing here
today and contribute in any way possible to our provincial and national development. Enhanced
access to social services particularly better and QUALITY health services is on top of our agenda
forming part of our cooperate social responsibility efforts.

As Kaonde-Lunda tribal cousins, we are determined to venture in numerous income generating

activities using our own member contributions and partners who wish to partner with us for
development purposes in our province.

Finally, the DHD, today your children have come to make a small donation of 40 blankets to this
health institute as a way of giving back to our maternal home and ensure equitable access to
health services.

They say a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step and this is our baby step sir,
and we hope to continue giving back to our community in the coming years.
