B. Rationale/Background
Gender Sensitivity Training for Indigenous Peoples of the Pederasyon it
mga Katutubong Konseho sa Calatrava (PKKC) and of the Asosasyon it
Calatravanhong Bantoanon ag Ati (ACBA)

– Understanding, respecting and appreciating their respective roles as women and


men can greatly contribute to their individual effectiveness, smooth interpersonal
relationships, and eventual peace and harmony in their families and the community.
The IP leadership, particularly the Municipal and Barangay IPMRs in the municipality
of Calatrava are therefore determined to pursue this one-day Gender Sensitivity
Training that will greatly contribute to the Calatrava IP communities’ development.

C. Objectives

Goal/Outcome By the end of 2022, at least the 120 IP women and


men’s understanding, respect and appreciation of
their respective roles as women and men shall have
led to the eventual peace and harmony in their
families and in their respective communities
