RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PROGRAM

OF OF TWO HUNDRED SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT
PESOS AND FOURTY CENTAVOS (P276,178.40) OF BARANGAY CAUYAN MUNICIPALITY
OF PALAUIG, PROVINCE OF ZAMBALES FOR FY 2023

WHEREAS, one of the major functions of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Cauyan, Palauig,
Zambales is to determine, in accordance with the criteria set by the Department of Interior and Local
Government, the budgetary need for the programs and activity, which shall reflect in the form of an Annual
Barangay Youth Investment Plan corresponding to its share of the proceed of the General Fund of the
Barangay;

WHEREAS, after due consideration, it was estimated that the share for the Sangguniang Kabataan of
Barangay Cauyan which came from the General Fund of the Barangay would reach TWO HUNDRED
SEVENTY-SIX THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-EIGHT PESOS AND FOURTY
CENTAVOS (P276,178.40); and

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan, after due consideration and deliberation, found it necessary to
prioritize and finance the vital needs in the Barangay in the expenditure program for 2023 for the Katipunan
ng Kabataan as specified below in the belief that they could effectively and qualitatively improve the
delivery of Public Service in the Barangay in the Municipality of Palauig, Zambales.

NOW THEREFORE, upon the motion of Sangguniang Kabataan Member Reggie Amado, and
unanimously seconded by all the members present, be it

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to approve the appropriation of TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-SIX

THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE PESOS AND TEN CENTAVOS (P276,178.40) for
the Programs, Projects and Activity of Sangguniang Kabataan in Barangay Cauyan in the Municipality of
Palauig, Zambales under the 10% of the General Fund of Barangay Cauyan for FY 2023 and authorize the
SK Treasurer to disburse it upon its availability.

DONE in the Barangay Cauyan Municipality of Palauig, Zambales this 21st day of October 2022.

CENTAVOS (P276,178.40) be made available for the purpose indicated above not otherwise appropriated
and be released only for the necessary expenditures mentioned above.
