The Sangguniang Kabataan approved the following:

RESOLUTION NO. ____

APPROVING THE COMPREHENSIVE BARANGAY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PLAN

OF BARANGAY CAUYAN MUNICIPALITY OF PALAUIG, PROVINCE OF
ZAMBALES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023 TO 2025.

Whereas, in accordance with Section 20 (a) of the SK Reform Act of 2015 Republic Act No.
10742, 10% of the general fund of the barangay shall be set aside for the SK;

Whereas, section 8 (a) of RA 10742, provides that one of the power and functions of
Sangguniang Kabataan is to formulate a three (3)-year rolling plan, which shall be known as the
Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan;

Whereas, this plan shall be aligned with the Philippine Youth Development Plan and Local
Youth Development Plans in provincial, city or municipal level;

Whereas, the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP) shall serve as the
basis for the preparation of the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP);

Whereas, the guidelines on the appropriation, release, planning and budgeting process for
Sangguniang Kabataan Funds is provided in the DBM-DILG-NYC Joint Memorandum Circular
No. 1, series of 2019;

Now Therefore, on motion of SK Abegail Apelo, duly seconded by all the members present.

Resolved as it is hereby resolved, to approve the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development

Plan (CBYDP) of Barangay Cauyan, Municipality of Palauig, Province of Zambales for fiscal
year 2023 to 2025.
Resolved further, to post the resolution approving the Comprehensive Barangay Youth
Development Plan in the barangay bulletin board and at least 3 conspicuous places within the
jurisdiction of the barangay and to submit the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development
Plan to the Sangguniang bayan through the Municipal Budget Officer upon the approval thereof.
