APPOINTMENT OF SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN

(SK) TREASURER

By virtue of the powers vested in me as Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman

and in conformity with REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10742 – AN ACT ESTABLISHING
REFORMS IN THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN CREATING ENABLING
MECHANISM FOR MEANINGFUL YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN NATION-
BUILDING, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES Chapter II, Section 13, Paragraph f
which states, “With the concurrence of the Sangguniang Kabataan, appoint from
from among the members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan a secretary and
treasurer”, I hereby appoint RENATO J. GABLING JR. as Sangguniang Kabataan
Treasurer of Barangay Cantongtong, Jiabong, Samar.

I further attest that the said APPOINTEE possesses all the qualification
and none of the disqualification as defined under Chapter II, Sec. 10 of the R.A.
10742 which reads:

“An official of Sangguniang Kabataan, either elective or appointee, must be

a citizen of the Philippines, a qualified voter of the barangay for not less than one
(1) year immediately preceding the day of the elections, at least eighteen (18) years
but not more than twenty-four (24) years of age on the day of the elections, able to
read and write Filipino, English, or the local dialect, must not be related within
the second civil degree of consanguinity or affinity to any incumbent elected
regional, provincial, city, municipal, or barangay official, in the locality where he
or she seeks to be convicted by final judgement of any crime involving moral
turpitude.”

The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Treasurer shall:

1. Take custody of all Sangguniang Kabataan property and funds;

2. Collect and receive contributions, monies, materials, and all other resources
intended for the Sangguniang Kabataan and the Katipunan ng Kabataan;

3. Serve as cosignatory in all withdrawals from the Sangguniang Kabataan

funds and disburse funds in accordance with the approved annual budget
and supplement budget, as tge case may be, of the Sangguniang
Kabataan;
 4. Certify the availability of the Sangguniang Kabataan funds whenever
necessary;

5. Submit to ythe Sangguniang Kabataan and to the Sangguniang Barangay

certified and detailed statements of actual income and expenditures at the
end of every quarter and the posting of the same in the barangay bulletin
board and in at least three (3) conspicuous places within the jurisdiction of
the barangay, and if possible including the use of traditional and
nontraditional media;

6. Render report during the regular Katipunan ng Kabataan assembly on the

financial status of the Sangguniang Kabataan; and

7. Perform such other duties and discharge such other function as the
Sangguniang Kabataan chairperson may prescribe or direct.
