SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN RESOLUTION NO. 1

(Series of 2019)

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2019 ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PROGRAM OF

BARANGAY CENTRO OF MUNICIPALITY OF MANDAUE, PROVINCE OF CEBU

WHEREAS, Republic Act 10742, otherwise known as Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015,
establishes reforms in the Sangguniang Kabataan creating enabling mechanisms and support systems
that will ensure the meaningful participation of the youth in local governance and nation-building;

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 10742 provides that Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP)
shall refer to the yearly program based on the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP)
which shall contain the specific programs, projects and activities with corresponding project costs
including the necessary fund flows to approximate the reasonable timing in the release of funds;

WHEREAS, the CBYDP was adopted by the Sangguniang Barangay of Centro through Barangay
Sangguniang Kabataan Resolution No. 1 dated March 3, 2019;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE, AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE SK COUNCIL OF

BARANGAY CENTRO, to approve the 2019 Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program of Barangay
Centro of City of Mandaue, Province of Cebu;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be furnished to the following:

a) Sangguniang Barangay of Centro;

b) Pambayang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan of City of Mandaue;
Adopted this 3rd day of March 2019 in Barangay Centro, Mandaue City, Cebu.
