ACTIVITY DESIGN
TITLE: “INTER-ZONAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE”

THEME: “STRENGTHENING CAMARADERIE, SPORTMANSHIP AND

COMPETITIVENESS IN THE NEW NORMAL”

I. RATIONALE

Chapter VI, Section 31 of Republic No. 10742, or otherwise known as the Sangguniang
Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, mandates the conduct capability building on leadership in the
Barangay, City/Municipality and Province.

Relative with this, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Baybayog will conduct the said
activity in order to recognize the role of the youth as a contributory factor to the nation building as a
whole, and thus, promotes and protects their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social-being
and inculcates in them their patriotism, nationalism and other desirable values, and encourages their
involvement in public and civic affairs.

Consequently, as the pandemic hits the country so hard, all activities that promotes
camaraderie and competitiveness among youth has stop due to health restrictions imposed by the
government. Thus, it is proper to again reinforce this kind of activity that will keep instill the value of
camaraderie and competitiveness among the youth.

Towards the end, the State shall establish adequate, effective, responsive and enabling
mechanisms and support system that will ensure the meaningful participation of the youth in local
governance and nation building.

II. OBJECTIVE

 To develop the skills, camaraderie, sportsmanship, team work of our kabataan.

 To enhance and build their leadership and teamwork.

 It is a 2 week league for the kabataan of baybayog for them do improve in the sport
they love the most.

III. DATE OF THE ACTIVITY

 The activity will be conducted on July 09, 2022 at Baybayog Elementary School (BES)
Gymnasium Baybayog, Alcala, Cagayan.

IV. ACTIVITIES TO BE UNDERTAKEN

 A 2 week BASKETBALL COMPETITION

 For Saturdays and Sundays we will be having a 4 basketball games each day.
 For Mondays to Fridays we will be having a 3 basketball games each day.
 On day 1 morning, the presentation of the players and the explanation of the program.
 On day 1 Afternoon, will be the start of the said program.
 (At Baybayog Elementary School (BES) every Day and starts at 3:30 pm and ends at
10:30 pm.
V. PARTICIPANTS

The participants shall be composed of Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK) that are bonified from
Barangay Baybayog only, during dinner break we provided 1 hour break so that the referees and
management can take their meal. The players must clean their bench before leaving the school
premises. A waiver will be given to all the parents who want to join the program for the safety of the
student and also the one who make the program. The players of Juniors division is ages 12-20 years
old and for Seniors Division is ages 21 and Above.

The funds derived from the available 10% SK Funds in the Barangays, breakdown as follows:
