SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN RESOLUTION NO. 2

SERIES - 2018

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMPREHESIVE BARANGAY YOUTH

DEVELOPMENT PLAN (CBYDP) FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2018-2020,
ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PROGRAM (ABYIP) BUDGET
FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2019.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 329, Article Two, Title Six, Book III of RA 7160, otherwise known as the
Local Government Code of 1991, that the Ten percent (10%) of the general fund of the Barangay shall set aside
for the Sangguniang Kabataan;

WHEREAS, the said share shall be appropriated and administered by the Sangguniang Kabataan and
shall be spent and disbursed solely for youth development and empowerment purposes as provided in the
provisions of RA 10742, RA 7160, RA 9184 and such other pertinent rules and regulations except for personal
services;

WHEREAS, Annual Barangay Youth Investment Plan (ABYIP) is the yearly program based on the
Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP) and it is contain the specific programs, projects
and activities with corresponding project costs including the necessary fund flows to approximate the
reasonable timing in the release of funds;

WHEREAS, the Comprehesive Barangay Youth development Program for the Calendar year 2018-2012
is hereby attached as annex 1 and the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Plan for the calendar year 20019 is
hereby attached as annex 2 in this foregoing resolution.

WHEREAS, the proposed Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP) Budget is deemed
appropriate for the operational on the utilization of the Sanggunian Kabataan Funds.

NOW THEREFORE, through the motion Danica Jhoy Morante, SK Member and duly seconded by all
present, be it resolve the APPROVING OF THE COMPREHENSIVE BARANGAY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PLAN
(CBYDP) FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2018-2020, ANNUAL BARANGAY YOUTH INVESTMENT PROGRAM (ABYIP)
BUDGET FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2019.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to forward copies of this Resolution to the Sangguniang Barangay and to the DILG
Office for appropriate action and other concerned agencies.
