A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE SK PROGRAMS,

PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE PERIOD OF JANUARY TO DECEMBER
2021.

Presented for consideration is the Annual Budget of the Sangguniang Kabataan for
Calendar Year 2021 in the amount of TWO HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO
THOUSAND NINETY-NINE PESOS AND 44/100 (P262,099.44).

WHEREAS, RA 10742 otherwise known as the SK Reform Act of 2015, Section 8 (b), one
of the powers and functions of the Sangguniang Kabataan is to approve the annual
budget which is the annual slice of the Annual Barangay Youth Investment
Program;

WHEREAS, Section 8 (c) of the same act, empowers the SK to promulgate resolutions
necessary to carry out the objectives of the youth in the barangay in accordance
with the Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan and the applicable
provisions of the act;

WHEREAS, 3.3.2.2 of JMC No. 1, s- 2019 authorizes the SK Chairperson, with the

assistance of the SK Treasurer to prepare the SK Annual Budget consisting the

following: (i) estimates of income; and (ii) expenditure program;

WHEREAS, in a meeting conducted last _______, the Sangguniang Kabataan has

approved the annual budget appropriating the amount of TWO HUNDRED

SIXTY-TWO THOUSAND NINETY-NINE PESOS AND 44/100 (P262,099.44);

WHEREAS, said annual budget is compliant to Section 20 of RA 10742, JMC No. 1, s-

2019 and other related guidelines in the use of SK Funds;

WHEREAS, said annual budget is necessary in order to carry out the programs and

projects of the Sangguniang Kabataan as outlined in the Comprehensive Barangay

Youth Development Plan (CBYDP) and the Annual Barangay Youth Investment

Program (ABYIP);

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay

Camarag, San Isidro, Isabela to approve the annual budget in the amount of TWO

HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO THOUSAND NINETY-NINE PESOS AND 44/100

(P262,099.44).

RESOLVED FURTHER, that the full text of the annual budget shall be read as follows:

A RESOLUTION APPRORIATING THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED

SIXTY-TWO THOUSAND NINETY-NINE PESOS AND 44/100
(P262,099.44) FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2021 TO COVER THE
EXPENDITURES AND PROGRAMS OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN
FOR BUDGET YEAR.

The appropriation shall take effect on January 1, 2021.

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that copies of this resolution shall be furnished to the

Sangguniang Bayan of San Isidro, Sangguniang Barangay of Camarag, Municipal

Budget Office, Municipal Accounting Office, and all offices concerned for their

appropriate action.
