Christmas is a holiday to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.
Children also have a chance to
get a lot of gifts and have a family reunion time! Homes is always decorated with a wreath, Christmas tree, fairy lights. There also lots of exchange gifts with wrapping paper are prepared. Having a special Christmas meal was the best idea! The dinner of a standard Christmas includes turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, and vegetables. Children are really into decorating a gingerbread house, having a candy cane, pudding, mince pies, and fruitcake. In addition, children always write a letter to Santa about what they want to and prove that they are good enough to get a gift from him. Besides, Father Christmas, known as Santa Claus is associated with bringing gifts for children. Children believe that on Christmas Eve Santa Claus loads his sleigh with toys and flies around the world, drawn by nine reindeer. Stopping at each child's house, he slides down the chimney and leaves gifts, refreshing himself with milk and cookies left for him by the household's children. Boxing Day is a holiday celebrated after Christmas Day, occurring on the second day of Christmastide. Though it originated as a holiday to give gifts to the person you love, today Boxing Day is primarily known as a shopping holiday. Boxing Day is also concurrent with the Catholic holiday Saint Stephen's Day.
