I. Policy Statement

II. Objectives

The purpose of this policy is to encourage the employees of Leon Guinto


Memorial College Inc. (teaching and non-teaching personnel) to be productive and
efficient in their work and give employees the ability to make decisions and have control
over their work. Additionally, give employees the ideal working environment.

III. Scope of the Policy

This policy applies to Leon Guinto Memorial College Inc. employees’


heads/section heads at all times.

IV. Procedures

A. MONETARY BENEFITS

Monetary benefits may refer to cash that is given to the teaching and non-teaching
personnel for their excellent performance on the job. The monetary benefits are used to
motivate teaching and non-teaching personnel to achieve desired objectives.

A.1 Cash Gifts

1.1 All teaching and non-teaching personnel should receive cash gifts. All cash
gifts should have the same amount to encourage fairness during important events
like Year End Party and Teacher’s Day.

1.2 The teaching personnel should not collect or ask for cash gifts from others,
especially when it is an attempt of bribing for beneficial purposes or personal
interest.

1.3 Teaching personnel must refuse cash gifts that came from the following
situation:

1.3.1 Students Caught Cheating

1.3.2 Exam Leakage

1.3.3 Plagiarism

1.3.4 Falsification of Grades

1.3.5 Admission of Students

1.4 Dagdagan pa ba natin na if nangyari yung ganitong situation ay kung kanino


pupunta? or yung pwede ding mangyari sa students pag ginawa ito?

A.2 Travel Allowances

2.1 A teaching personnel is qualified for a travel allowance if they travel for the
following reasons:

2.1.1 Tour/ School Outing

2.1.2 Participation in seminars and conferences as a nominated participant by


the school

2.1.3 Receiving Awards

2.2 The school budget for reimbursement should not exceed in ₱2,000.00 per
person for travel allowance yearly.

2.3 Teaching personnel should present a receipt of their expenses during their
travel for reimbursement.

A.3 Uniform Allowances

3.1 All teaching personnel must have a yearly clothing allowance for purchasing
their proper uniform or clothing. The school can:

3.1.1 Provide funding to compensate teachers for uniform or clothing


purchases.

3.1.2 Purchase uniforms or clothing for the teachers.

3.2 The school's annual uniform allowance reimbursement budget should not
exceed $1,000.00 per person.

3.3 Teaching personnel should present a receipt for the purchase of uniforms or
clothing for reimbursement.

3.4 Teaching personnel can wear professional attire with Identification Card (ID)
on Fridays.

A.4 Teaching Supplies Allowances

All teaching personnel must receive teaching supplies allowances to pay the cost
of purchasing supplies and materials for students at school. The overall budget
limit for the school's teaching supplies allowance is $3,000.00 per teacher. There
is no requirement to present a receipt. (dagdag sa monthly sahod)

B. NONMONETARY BENEFITS

Nonmonetary benefits may refer to non-cash benefits like appraisal, recognition, and
events that teaching and non-teaching personnel can enjoy. Teachers want the best
workplace and culture that supports both personal and career growth.

B.1 Recognition

1.1 Every year there will be an award that can be teaching personnel obtain during
special events. The following awards can be:

1.1.1 Amazing Teacher Award (Motivators)

1.1.2 Humanitarian Award (Kind)

1.1.3 Class Clown Award (Funny)

1.1.4 Teacher of the Year Appreciation Award (ACHIEVER)

1.2 All teaching personnel can be nominated, there is no requirement that the
teacher needs to provide.

1.3 The students will be the judges. They will put their votes in a ballot box
anonymously.

1.4 The teaching personnel who got the higher votes in every award will receive a
trophy, certificates, and valuable gifts.

B.2 Special Events

2.1 All teaching and non-teaching personnel are required to attend special events
like Year End Party and Company Outing. On Teacher’s Day, the teaching
personnel is required to attend also.

2.2 On the said events, the school should be in charge of the expenses of the
event such as food, venue, decoration, prizes, and other expenses.

2.3 The school should not sell a ticket to the mentioned events. Although, the
schools can give free tickets or passes for specific events.

2.4 In a special event, can happen the announcement of awards for teachers,
especially on Teachers Day.

2.5 The special event can be a theme party where all the teaching and non-
teaching personnel will be creative with their attire.
