Program Objectives
The course provides advanced knowledge and skills in educational management. It prepares the professionals of the education sector to become administrators, supervisors of
educational institutions and professionalizes teaching proficiency of the individual. It also trains the professionals to become researchers in education and related fields for the improvement of
school management and instruction. It trains the professionals to become leaders in educational management.
Course Description
The emphasis of this course is on the individual and group behaviour in an organization. Organizational performance greatly depends on how the people work or perform their tasks. It
is therefore necessary for the manager to understand the behaviour of the people working with him/her which will help achieve the organization’s goals. Since man is the most challenging to
manage, this course includes topics on communication, motivation, leadership and empowerment, management of conflict, change, career, time and stress.
