READING CAÑETE RECIPES FROM Nuevo Week – Lesson: 03
Imperial, Santa Cruz de Flores, Coayllo y San Vicente
TEXT 1:
“SOPA SECA WITH CARAPULCRA”
INGREDIENTS:

 3 chicken pieces
 300 gr noodles
 1 carrot
 1 chopped tomato
 2 onions
 2 spoons of garlic
 1/2 cup of blended basil
 1/3 cup of chilli panca
 3 spoons chopped parsley
 3 cups of chicken stock
 1/3 vegetable oil
 Salt to taste
 pepper to taste
 cumin to taste
 oregano to taste

PREPARATION:

1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.


2. Brown in a pot with oil over medium high heat.
3. Add the onion, garlic, panca chili, tomato
and grated carrot to a pot for 15 minutes.
4. then we add, salt, pepper, oregano and cumin.
5. Add the previously blended basil and the chicken prey.
6. Stew for 30 minutes and reserve the dams.
7. Pour the chicken water, add the pasta until cooked
8. after that, we cut and add the chopped parsley.
9. we add the chicken pieces back to the pot.
10. finally we serve.
