LOVE STORY
Taylor Swifts song entitled LOVE STORY was released in 2008, it was popular
then and it is still amazingly a timeless popular classic. Love Story is known for its
catchy melody, heartfelt lyrics, and the way how it reimagined the tragedy that is
Romeo and Juliet from William Shakespeare works, although, in this song, they were
given a happy ending.
What makes this amazing piece the popular timeless song that it is was the fact that
it is engaging and relatable to the masses. Its relatable theme of love and romances
as people can connect their experiences in its lyrics, the song also has well
developed and relatable characters namely Juliet and her point of view in this song,
how she struggles with their love, how much she wanted to fight for it, and how much
she wanted her Romeo to want it as much as she does despite the protests of the
people around them, and ultimately…he did. Everyone knows that love is a universal
language, so the songs themes, and characters and the underlying messages were
what made Love Story by Taylor Swift popular.

Somewhere only we know is a song from the British band Keane, released in the
year 2004. The song features a simple yet captivating melody, and the lyrics were
just as captivating. The melody may be catchy, but the lyrics are melancholic. The
song's theme of finding a secret and safe place where one can be themselves
resonated with a broad audience. Many people could relate to the idea of having a
private sanctuary, making the song widely relatable and meaningful.

The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis has a lot of memorable characters, as a
child who has watched it once and they’d be able to point out one or a few more
characters that they like in the novel/movie. C.S Lewis is known for his captivating
writing and integrated unique elements to his stories, moreover the timeless and
universal themes that he writes about are what makes this novel as popular as it is,
themes such as good versus evil, courage, sacrifice, friendship, and more.

Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle is a detective series novel made popular
by its witty and cunning main character Sherlock Holmes and how he deals with the
complex and intriguing mysteries around him and the relevant social issues in the
society he lives in.

closed-circle mystery, it was something new to the eyes of the masses of the time
and when something new is presented to people, they are almost always willing to
check it out of curiosity. Ad this is where the gripping plot, cleverly crafted mystery,
and its cultural significance comes in.
