How to…Google Image

Use combinations of Keywords:

o What it is, what it looks like, product name (e.g. mondrian, nike, shoe)
o Aim between 2-5 words for best results

Click Search tools, and filter using options in the sidebar:

o Size - small for websites, medium for printing, large for PowerPoints
o Colour - useful if you’re searching for things with simple colours
o Type - photo, drawing, clip art
And now for something new…Reverse image search
Sometimes you find a great image for a presentation but it’s not big enough…
Sometimes you want more images similar to one you already have…
Sometimes you want to know where an image is being used…

Sometimes you need to do a reverse image search!

It’s simple – click on your

image and drag it in to the
Google image search box.

The box will expand to

swallow up your image, and
then Google will show you
everything you ever wanted
to know about your image.

Yay!
