Analysis:
Reader’s Digest is a magazine that talks about numerous topics and stories. Its topics are
based on a lot of famous people in other communities talking on many things like how and what
topic and stories, this magazine uses many patterns of paragraph development. It uses Narration,
Description, Process analysis and Persuasion, to build and form the magazine to be an interesting
and fascinating book created. It has topics different from each other so that the reader gets to
choose what he prefers to start with. There is a lot of narration in this book telling stories and
experiences from other celebrities and people. The title of some interesting stories are
“Romancing the Terrorist” by Anna Erelle ,talks about a journalist falling in love with a terrorist
and another narrative is a life experience by Vicki Glembocki titled his experience The Case of
the Relentless Robocalls, talks about a person who get 136 pre-recorded calls or voice calls to
the person even though it should not be hers. There more topics like a problem-solution like Ruth
Pennebaker story titled Mother of the Bride talking about giving some advices to her daughter’s
problems on how she should handle the dispute she has before she gets married, so she could
have a better future. Being also helps other people who need guidance for their problems and
able be a guide for us too. This show magazine also show some process in how to help you in
your regular life, one topic here is named A Lifesaving At-Home Checkup show some
instruction and process to know what possible problem or sickness you and able to consult your
doctor if you ever feel worried about it.

Another topic is “Is your Bladder calling the shot” it tells you a lot about your health on your
bladder and how to keep it safe and healthy in your ongoing life. This topic really helps us to
know what to do about certain problems and how to fix or solve it step by step. The last topic is
about persuading or convincing you, there are many topics in the magazine but one intriguing
topic is Best Companies ever. It tells which company is best for your certain skills and where are
you capable of, it also tells which to avoid if you don’t want that certain job or labor for you and
it helps also for time management which is good for people who has tight time, in overall, it can
convince you that some jobs can be helpful and majority of the jobs requires those certain skill
which help to convince you to learn those skills. One more topic is about furniture which is best
for the requirement you are looking for and desire of it to be, there are a lot for certain specific
furniture for you for the needed environment and will satisfy you the best. So in my opinion for
the result of this book is excellent and beneficial for a majority of people, it can help on a lot of
things even though you would not need it but is a recommended to have for your household,
when the time comes it can be there for without knowing and can help go each following day.
