Ingredients:

Instructions:
2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain the noodles and set
them aside.
3. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef or Italian sausage over medium heat until
browned. Add the onion, green pepper, and garlic and cook for an additional 5
minutes, until the vegetables are softened.
4. Add the marinara sauce to the skillet and stir to combine. Simmer the sauce for 10
minutes.
5. In a bowl, mix together the shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, egg,
chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
6. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, layer the lasagna noodles, meat sauce, and cheese mixture.
Repeat until all the ingredients are used up, ending with a layer of cheese.
7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for
an additional 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Let the lasagna cool for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
