Software Functions and User Interface

The following sections describe updates to functionality and the user interface in Technician Toolbox.

Set Retention Period for Logs

You can now set the retention period for Technician Toolbox to clear logs after a specific period. The default
retention period is 30 days.

Install Updates with One Click

You can now directly upgrade Technician Toolbox with the click of a button on the application. Click Install
Update to upgrade to the latest version of the application.

View Zoomed Charts

You can now download and view the zoomed charts from Service Reports. The downloaded chart displays
the timeline you saw on the x-axis at the time of zooming.

Configure Equipment Details

You can now configure equipment details for VIMS 3G machines too. You can configure serial number,
equipment number, date, time and service meter units on the Configure Equipment tab under Onboard
Configure.

Database Updated
Your database is now migrated from MongoDB to PostgresDB. Add your log files afresh in the unpro-
cessed folder to process and use them. This enables saving your files in PostgresDB.

Note: All the existing data will be deleted for updating the database from MongoDB to PostGresDB. Raw
files must be remerged to reload the data and view the same in the respective widgets.
