Proposed discontinuation of Bulk Material Handling product lines

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are dedicated to providing our valued customers with the products,
solutions, and support that enable you to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. To ensure we
can continue to offer innovation, quality, value, and acceptable lead times we continuously evaluate
our portfolio and take the tough decisions to discontinue products where necessary.

Today, I am writing to inform you that on 11 April 2023, Thermo Fisher Scientific announced the
proposal to discontinue our bulk material handling product lines including:

• Thermo Scientific™ Ramsey™ Motion Monitoring Systems
• Thermo Scientific™ Ramsey™ Under Speed Sensors
• Thermo Scientific™ Ramsey™ Speed Sensors
• Thermo Scientific™ Ramsey™ Model 10-60DM Low Capacity Weighbelt Feeders

As a valued customer, we are providing you with advance notice of this proposal. This proposal is
subject to consultation with impacted employees and their representative bodies in the required
countries.

While no final decisions have been made in this regard, we kindly request that you pause any
new or pending system orders for the products listed above until further notice.

We are working to fulfill orders that have already been received and confirmed.

Some of the products listed for proposed discontinuation are now made immediately available as
spares. You can continue to order consumables, spare parts, and service contracts as needed for all
