“Bad Beat” means a high ranking poker
OFFICIAL RULES
1. The “Bad Beat Jackpot” shall apply to the
game of Texas Hold’em Only.
2. A maximum of $1.00 (one-dollar) will be
collected per hand to be allocated toward
the “Bad Beat Jackpot.” That $1.00 (one-
dollar) will be collected during each round
of play and placed in the “Bad Beat
Jackpot” drop box.
3. The following guidelines will apply in order
for a hand to be considered for the “Bad
Beat Jackpot”:
• A minimum of four (4) players must be dealt in
the hand
• In order to collect monies for the “Bad Beat Jackpot,”
the pot must be a minimum of twenty-dollars ($20.00)
or more
• The game must not have a reduced rake of any kind
• Both the winning and losing hands must use both of
their hole cards and three cards from the board
• For Four-of-a-Kind both the winning and losing hand
must contain a pocket pair
4. The Bad Beat Meter will be updated
once per day. In the case of a “Bad Beat
Jackpot,” what is reflected on the meter
at that time will be divided among the
holders of the winning and losing hands
as well as all other active players at the
table. The winning hand will receive
twenty percent of the jackpot, the losing
hand forty percent, and the rest of the
table that were active in the beginning
of the hand will receive forty percent (i.e.
forty percent will be split amongst the
remaining players active in that hand).

8. In the event two or more tables qualify for
the “Bad Beat Jackpot” at the same time,
the jackpot will be equally split between
each table.
9. All winning hands must be left exposed on
the layout until Table Games supervisory
personnel removes the deck(s) of cards
from the table.
10. A player who removes his/her chips from
the game prior to a showdown on a hand
where a jackpot is won forfeits the right
to any prize money.
a. If a player walks away from the game and he/she
was in the hand at the beginning, he/she will retain
the right to the share of the jackpot if a jackpot hand
occurs.
11. All “Bad Beat Jackpot” winnings will be
paid from the Cashier Cage in the form of
cash or check.
a. Winner will be responsible for all taxes.
b. All prizes are final. No substitution or transfer
of prize(s) permitted.
12. Under all circumstances the decision of
Poker Management is FINAL.
